LOS ANGELES THEATER
Built in 1931, The Los Angeles Theater was the last of the great movie theaters to open up in downtown LA during the heyday of the grand movie palaces that were built on Broadway. The premiere of Chaplin’s City Lights started a three-decade long span of popularity at the theater until attendance dropped and the doors closed in 1994. Now it’s mostly used as a filming location for film and television.Prints are available in my shop.

THE ENNIS HOUSE
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the Ennis house was built in 1924 in the the hills above Los Feliz. The dwelling is one of four houses designed by Wright in Los Angeles that utilize concrete block construction and is inspired by Mayan architecture. The house has been used in many film productions including the original House on Haunted Hill and most famously in Blade Runner.
